Pearlescent Greys - Autumn Wardrobe

We're officially in autumn but my wardrobe has been gearing up for this season since September 1st.

Soft grey hues have been my transitional colour palette from summer to fall. It started with putting away my gold toned accessories and layering on my sleek silver jewellery. My lace embedded bracelet and a modern pearl asymmetrical cuff are constant favourites. My Fossil watch has been a great addition with its large dial and delicate roman numerals and grey leather strap. The air is crisper so out come the soft cozy turtlenecks paired with my signature Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt cologne making for a fresh yet cozy coastal vibe.

Minimalistic Wood Wall Clock

Now that I'm well on my way with decluttering our apartment and (my wardrobe!),  I'm allowing myself to add items into our home that are well thought out. They must be useful or spark joy and this wall clock happens to be both!

Shinji and I have wanted to incorporate a wall clock into our living room for a while now. We've searched IKEA, West Elm, CB2 and Crate&Barrel but with out luck.

This is a great example on how the book by Marie Kondo in my previous post has really benefited us. We had a plan of the style of clock we wanted and the price point. It made shopping stress free because if the item didn't meet our criteria then we could move on! So instead of settling or breaking the bank, we finally found one that is exactly what we had wanted.

Of all the places I found this beautiful walnut wood clock at Indigo. It was right before our wedding anniversary so I bought it and wrapped it up for Shinji. Luckily he was just as impressed with the clock as I was, so we ended up keeping it!

We love the simplistic modern feel while it still maintains warmth and natural look.
